Quarantine Diaries with Catherine Chin
- 30/04/2020
Catherine Chin shares her life under lock down here in the UK. Catherine is our marketing executive and works across StocExpo & Tank Storage portfolio.
What are your top tips for staying home?
Keep in contact with your friends and family, everyone is a quiz expert by now! Try something different, I have been doing puzzles. And if you have pets they really help me stay entertained, I have two Labrador cross border collie dogs called Tess and Callie. Lastly, do a lot of cooking from scratch.
How are you helping the community?
I am volunteering. I am helping out at a local community fridge distributing food to families in need and helping pack the bags to be distributed. I am extremely grateful to be able to help others who need it the most.
Are you doing any exercise?
I have been running more than before lockdown as I was training for a half marathon. Next to that I am doing a lot of long walks in the countryside with pretty views. I also do free workout classes on Instagram and fitness apps called Down Dog and Results with Lucy.
What have you been baking?
Banana bread and lemon drizzle cake are now staples in my diet, I absolutely recommend them!
What are you currently watching?
I am watching a lot of Disney+ and Netflix. But my favourite show is definitely Killing Eve.
What are you reading?
With Malorie Blackman’s new tv series Noughts + Crosses out on the BBC, I decided to go back to my old books. Great childhood memories!
Interview from March 30th.
