Meet Josh, Sales Manager
- 20/06/2023
What does sustainability mean to you and how important is it?
Sustainability means a great deal to me, it means making sure that the future generations to come have as cleaner a living environment as possible. I think changes all start in our homes, making sure we are doing what we can to make an impact. But I do think it goes much larger, organisations are who we continuously look up to, meaning they should be mapping the way for us all to follow.
What was your first week like?
My first week was great; getting to grips with an understanding of the industry and events. Not knowing anything about a new industry can be very daunting, but the team have been there to answer any questions which has been great! It did also help that my birthday was during my first week, giving us an excuse to go to the pub, so can’t complain!
What are you most looking forward to whilst working with us?
I am looking forward to developing my career and understanding within a sector which is very niche but one we all rely heavily on. It’s such an exciting time to be in the industry also.
What do you do in your free time?
Most weekends I will either be out and about taking long walks in the countryside and escaping London or visiting period properties. I also spend a lot of time socialising with friends and family; so, will often be back at my parents, becoming a human climbing frame and providing entertainment for my nephews!
Are you excited to be on-site? What are you looking forward to when we go?
I am really looking forward to being on site and am most looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about the industry. Events are crucial but also a lot of fun.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I once worked in a Michelin star restaurant in Cornwall and served a few recognisable names: Teri Hatcher, Gordon Ramsay, James Martin and Alfie Allen to name a few!
