H2 test field ignited green revolution at Port of Hamburg

This innovative site, complete with state-of-the-art hydrogen refuelling station, is being celebrated by operator Hamburger Hafen und Logistik as a game changing milestone in the quest to decarbonise logistics.

Harnessing the power of green hydrogen, the test field will energise a fleet of heavy-duty equipment, including straddle carriers, empty container stackers, forklift trucks, reach stacker, tractor units, and trucks. This pioneering project showcases the immense potential of hydrogen as a sustainable fuel source setting a new standard for eco-friendly operations in the logistics industry.
