U.S. Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), John Boozman (R-Ark.), and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) have launched the Senate Sustainable Aviation Caucus to champion a sustainable future for the aviation industry. This bipartisan group is dedicated to advancing renewable fuels and supporting clean energy practices to ensure the long-term success and environmental responsibility of aviation in the U.S.
Building a Cleaner, Competitive Future
“With the aviation industry working toward lower emissions and cleaner energy solutions, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) will be essential to our progress,” said Senator Moran. “The Senate Sustainable Aviation Caucus will promote innovative technologies and strengthen our country’s position in domestic SAF production, ensuring a more competitive and sustainable aviation industry.”
The caucus will focus on developing and implementing policies that drive technological advancements, foster sustainable fuel production, and support the renewable fuels industry. By uniting around these goals, the Senate Sustainable Aviation Caucus aims to reduce the environmental footprint of air travel and solidify America’s leadership in sustainable aviation.
