Among the deluge valves manufactured by SAFire are a series of SIL 2 and SIL 3 Double Chamber Deluge Valves model VDD, available for integration in those fire systems that require certified Safety Integrity Functions (SIF).
In addition to the features of the model VD deluge valves, the double chamber deluge valve model VDD offers a fully redundant architecture which is compatible with hydraulic, electric, electro-pneumatic or pneumatic release systems and ensures a low probability of failure on demand. The VDD models are available with control trims made of Nickle Aluminium Bronze/ AISI 316L/ Monel K400 . UL listing, SIL 2 and SIL 3 certification from BV is available on selected valves. All valves are in line with NFPA guidelines.
