Esma Gulten, graduated from ITU Industrial Engineering Department of Business Administration Faculty in 2005 and then Mechanical Engineering Department of the same university in 2006 as her double-major. After graduating, she began to her professional life in Sabanci Holding as a result of a good success in Young Talent Employment Program. After being involved in Siemens in 2007, she had the opportunity to experience in several areas; such as Strategy Planning, Business Development, Business Excellence, Project Management, Engineering Management during her career in Siemens. Gulten resigned from Siemens Energy Management Division Strategy and Business Development Manager role and co-founded Gizil as CEO of the company. Gizil was founded in 2012 as an engineering and digitalization service provider for industrial plants, such as refineries, chemicals, petrochemicals, tank terminals, fertilizers, biofuels, etc. Gizil’s wide range of services covers the entire lifecycle of industrial plants: from feasibility, engineering, construction, maintenance, other long-term services, and digitalization. Gizil is focusing as a corporation on emerging technologies. Gizil’s unique selling point is creating digital twins of complex industrial plants with a turnkey execution model.
