Fulco attained a Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Groningen, the Netherlands, in 1996. After fourteen years in the Chemical Industry in diverse roles and spanning various geographies, Fulco joined Royal Vopak (Global Leader in Bulk Liquid Tankstorage) in Singapore in 2010. He was then asked to take charge of Vopak’s 2011 acquisition in India – CRL Terminals Pvt Ltd. and subsequently took up the position of Managing Director Vopak India. In May 2015, Fulco joined Vopak Terminals Australia as Managing Director, overseeing a 30% expansion to its Sydney business and initiating a portfolio of early engagements within the Energy Transition space. After 17 years away from home, Fulco repatriated to the Netherlands in 2021 to take responsibility for Vopak’s Digital Innovation agenda.
Fulco lives in The Hague with his wife and two children and is an active recreational long distance runner.
