This is a critical point in asset management across the globe and the corrosion of tank floors can lead to the loss of “contained product”, which often has toxic or hazardous properties, causing damage to the environment.
Inspection data from MFL scanners can be analysed to see new and developing corrosion, pitting or wall loss, both in near and far surfaces, enabling predictive asset management and planned maintenance strategies.
