Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare and organize supplies given work order needs;
– Assemble, modify, repair and replace valves;
– Advise customers as to performance and service requirements of company products;
– Prepare accurate service reports in a timely manner for completed work;
– Assist in preparing customer quotes;
– Work effectively and safely with other employees, customers and contractors;
– Regular punctuality, attendance and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and
– Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.
QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES
Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following:
Experience/Training/Education:
– High school diploma or equivalent;
– Maintenance Technician experience (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic);
– Experience in fuelling distribution systems and utilities;
-Experience with electrical controls (PLC, VFD)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
– Ability to communicate with company representatives, vendors and customer representatives;
– Skilled in use of hand tools and small power tools;
– Ability to understand and follow instructions;
– Ability to organize, schedule and complete work with minimal supervision;
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to reach, stretch, bend and stoop for long periods of time;
– Ability to lift, move, and carry objects of 50 pounds or less;
– Ability to move heavier objects with the assistance of others or by using mechanical devices;
– Ability to operate a motor vehicle;
– Ability to work in confined spaces and heights from 6-150+ feet; and
Special Requirements:
– Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment;
– Ability to work in valve service areas.
– Ability to travel in the EMEA as required;
